Internet desktop
A managed software service optimized for Internet connectivity. It allows users to access their files and desktop applications through the Internet. Internet desktop is a term often used to describe the trend of moving applications and software from the computer desktop to Web sites that users access online with their browser. Also called online desktop or Web desktop.
