KVCD
Short for K Video Compression Dynamics, KVCD is a modification to the MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 GOP structure that allows you to create over 120 minutes of ‘near DVD quality’ video on a single 80 minute CD-R/CD-RW. The official KVCD resolution is 528×480(576). This resolution standard is referred to as KVCDx3. An alternate resolution, 544×480(576) is called KVCDx3A.
