Digital Howard


an obscure magician’s misdirect. dates back to the late 1800’s, invented by william radley and named after famed magician howard thurston. involved creating a spectacle to draw people’s attention, and then using deft pickpocketing skills (digits) to nick as many valuables as possible while people were distracted.
if i tap you on the right shoulder so you look right, and then steal your wallet out of your left pocket, that’s a digital howard
