refers to when one is placed in a situation that must result in the ditching of a person and/or place.
bryan: “dude, this girl is the absolute worst!”
alex: “yeah man, looks like we have ourselves a ditch-uation”
when you get stood up. ditched. left to fend for yourself.
“dude, where were you? i was waiting all day!”
“haa, got you in a ditchuation.”
