dookie
green day’s debut alb-m with reprise records. (they had released two already, but these were with the local label lookout! records.) the song longview was the song that helped make them famous. the hits when i come around and basket case are also on the alb-m. dookie is a great alb-m and my faves one the alb-m are, h-ll, the whole alb-m!
i have dookie at home… it has a picture of ernie from sesame street on the back. she and pulling teeth are awesome songs.

dookie is one of green day’s best cds to date
the name of a green day alb-m which also means poo. the cd was originally going to be t-tled “liquid dookie” because the band kept on getting sick from eating spoiled food while touring, but that was deemed “too gross”.
