Drinksgiving
the day and night before actual thanksgiving where you drink and have fun w/ your friends because you’ll have to endure family the whole next day. mostly known to college kids and those who live close to their parents because you don’t have school the next day as well.
“man i’m leaving for portland tomorrow, we have to do drinksgiving with everybody here!”
an alternative for a couple of exchange students in the us who don’t want to harm anyone with their poor cooking skills or are just too lazy to cook a thanksgiving dinner.
instead they meet up with their own mixed drinks, get drunk and be their own little family.
‘yo b-tch, the crazy exchange students are having a drinksgiving! let’s go and get waaasted’
