to be ambushed/surprised with a dubstep remix of a song that otherwise sounded great. usually done maliciously, or intended as actual high quality music. similar to rick rolling.
i thought i was listening to a great remix of fleetwood mac’s “rhiannon” until the beat dropped and it turned into a week dubstep monstrosity. i was totally dubrolled!
