Dylanism
when the master wordsmith dylan, creates a word to suit his needs. that accurately describes how people are feeling without being a real word.
examples of dylanism:
“joygasm” and “coolies” were both words originally created by dylan however due to the crazy world of the internet , plenty of other people now might claim them as their own. joygasm is a -rg-sm of joy, and coolies was was something that was “cool” to the max.
the act of adding poetic beauty and/or deeper meaning to a sentence or phrase. similar to the ways of bob dylan.
evey hammond: who are you?
v: who? who is but the form following the function of what and what i am is a man in a mask.
evey hammond: well i can see that.
v: of course you can. i’m not questioning your powers of observation; i’m merely remarking upon the paradox of asking a masked man who he is.
– v for vendetta (movie quote example of dylanism)
supreme b-tchery, to the nth degree times infinity.
i.e. dylan soper is really suffering from a bad case of dylanism… and his hemorrhoids.
