There are many joys to being pregnant. Women get that “pregnancy glow” that makes them look happy and even more beautiful than ever. Couples want to take advantage of this beauty and document these precious moments through pregnancy photo shoots. One couple had a little chaotic pregnancy photo shoot when a creature from the ocean made a surprising appearance.
Pregnancy Photo Shoot
The expecting couple, Angela and Dan Mozer, decided to head to the beach to take some pictures and document the wonderful moments of pregnancy. The woman stood in front of the rolling waves and smiled for her husband. Little did they know they were going to have the surprise of a lifetime.
The Photographer
Dan Mozer, the father, was excited to be taking pictures of his wife carrying their first child. He got a little carried away with the camera, taking photos at every angle possible.
Third Trimester
When the photo shoot was done, Angela was in her third trimester. Her stomach was pretty big and she had trouble making quick and swift movements. With this trouble, the couple soon realized that the beach may not be the safest place for the photo shoot.
Thunderstorm
The Mozers had just moved to the area and weren’t familiar with the unpredictable weather. They had just arrived at beach when an intense thunderstorm suddenly appeared. They had to turn around and go back home, hoping to shoot the photos another day.
The Perfect Photo
Before the thunderstorm began, the couple managed to get a few good pictures. This inspired them to capture more photos at a future date.
Weather Forecast
To make sure they weren’t stopped by any storms, Dan decided to take a closer look at the weather forecast. He didn’t have much time to pick a day to take the photos, the baby was going to be coming any day now.
Shark Sightings
Jacksonville has a reputation for seeing sea creatures like sharks, stingrays, and more. Many Great White sharks have been seen by coastguard boats while out on the water.
Shark Attacks
There are multiple shark attacks that happen every year in Jacksonville. Many locals know to be aware and careful of sharks when at the beach. Unfortunately, the Mozers were new to the area and weren’t aware of the danger.
Multiple Attacks
That year, there were multiple shark attacks in the Jacksonville area. Two of them were nearly fatal. These attacks were caused by bull sharks, who are known for attacking people.
Second Photo Shoot
The Mozers didn’t know about the attacks, so they rescheduled their photo shoot on the beach for a beautiful Saturday. For some of those photos, Angeline decided to put her feet in the water.
Odd Creature
As Angeline and Dan took their photos, people on the beach noticed something in the water. They couldn’t make out what it was, but it didn’t look good.
Quick Escape
It turned out there was a shark swimming close to Angeline in the water. Even with her large stomach, she was able to quickly run to shore where the shark couldn’t get her. The couple was shocked that they had witnessed a shark so close to them.
New Area
The couple moved to another part of the beach to continue their photo shoot. Confident that the shark had gone away, Angeline went back into the water to get some more great shots.
Splashing Water
In the distance, the couple noticed some splashes in the water behind Angeline. It started to move towards Angeline. Dan got nervous and warned her.
Moving Fast
The mysterious creature swam quickly towards Angeline. It was so fast that Angeline didn’t have time to move. Still unsure what it was, Dan and Angeline were frightened.
Dolphin
The creature turned out to be a dolphin! It leaped up out of the water just as Dan was taking a picture.
A Lucky Shot
The best photo of the shoot was with the dolphin jumping out of the water in the background. It was the perfect photo!
Multiple Photos
The dolphin was so energetic that it kept jumping out of the water, which let Dan capture multiple photos. The couple quickly put the photos on Facebook for all of their friends and family to see.
Lucky Shot
The couple couldn’t believe their luck when it came to getting these photos. After the scare with the shark, it was a chance to get back in the water. It’s a good thing she did, though or else they wouldn’t have gotten the pictures with the dolphin.
Baby Boy
Just a couple of weeks after the shoot, the couple welcomed a baby boy. They named him Courtland Thomas. Now he will always be able to look back on the memorable day his parents had at the beach.
