the erdős number (hungarian pr-nunciation: ˈɛrdøːʃ) describes the “collaborative distance” between a person and mathematician paul erdős, as measured by authorship of mathematical papers.
mathematician daniel kleitman have collaborated with paul erdős so his erdős-number is 1.
