normally pr-nounced far-ting around but in this case is spoken by my indian math teach. wasting time by any means and for a prolonged period of time.
lucy= oh my god max let’s talk about about something so we dont have to do work.

max= ahhahahahahah okay!

indian math teacher= hey children quit fah-ting around. dont even open your mouth. breathe through your nose!
