an injury that is disproportionate to the act which caused it. usually resulting in a trip to the hospital. often followed by manning up and meeting for a drink afterwards.
i totally fogeled when i was changing my lightbulb and one of the ceiling fans flew off the fixture and stabbed me in the eye and 911 was called.
