example: your parents get you a new pair of jeans to replace your old ones but it turns out the new ones have no pockets, so you take the pockets off the old one and add them to the new ones. that would be frankenfashion
example 2: you have several shirts that you like certain parts of so you take the parts you like and put them together into a new shirt you like completely to make a frankenfashion.
