frivolotive
unnecessary words that exist only to prove that the user of the word has a larger vocabulary than the lisiteners. especially when simpler, easier words exist.
hadar- “i say sir, that party was the ant-thesis of a good time.”
leo- “what the f-ck is ant-thesis?”
hadar- “it means opposite.”
leo- “so why not just say opposite, dumb-ss?”
here ant-thesis is a clear frivolotive.
