funrise
the last couple of hours before your weekend starts, generally characterized by the excitement and antic-p-tion of future drinking, parties, or general fun. noted by a general drop in productivity. usually on a friday afternoon, but open to change depending on your schedule.
1) bob: “dude, it’s funrise right now. i am so looking forward to this weekend.”
2) james: “you’re still working john? what happened to your funrise?”
john: “i work wednesday to sunday, so i can’t party until sunday night.”
