FUTCT
f.u.t.c.t. = from under the cork tree
from under the cork tree is the third studio alb-m by american rock band fall out boy. the alb-m, released on may 3, 2005, was fall out boy’s first release through island records.
the t-tle is taken from a line in the book the story of ferdinand by munro leaf. the alb-m cover features a van with a trailer in a slump of snow. this is a reference to the car accident the band was in while they were driving to new york to film the video for “grand theft autumn / where is your boy” from their alb-m take this to your grave. three singles were released from this alb-m: “sugar, we’re goin down”, “dance, dance” and “a little less sixteen candles, a little more ‘touch me'”.
emily: “have you ever listened to futct? it’s the best fall out boy alb-m ever!”
hannah: “duhhh. who hasn’t?!”
