geotrasher
someone who hunts geocaches down to destroy them and keep any travel bugs or coins inside as trophies.
a geotrasher will spread the remaining contents of the cache around the area then fill the container with some type of perishable food item. most times the lid is then glued in place to make opening difficult but not impossible.
logs are sometimes kept as souvenirs or left to rot in the cache container.
we are in the area of the geocache but i think a geotrasher might have gotten to it first because there are little broken plastic toys everywhere.
