(1) a phrase describing a person working for a company or non profit organization in an ebl (experience based learning), or sbl ( service based learning) capacity that is not allowed to have an official t-tle, or allowed to actually do much work of significance to enhance said experiences –
that is placed in said company or non profit organization by a separate company as part of an educational program designed for the purpose of re-training displaced employee’s changing or enhancing their career path.
(2) an unofficial intern with no given actual t-tle, working for a company or non profit organization with very little work to do so they usually only do their homework in the workplace, or are -ssigned “busy” work of no real relevance to said experience
” the ghostern is studying to be a web developer eh, eh – whatever that means ….. got anything for him to file ” ?
” hey meredith can you find some “busy” work for the ghostern to do today ” ? ” is it time for lunch yet” ?
