Giz us a hoon
giz us a hoon is a colloquial phrase which roughly means “may i please have some”. it is believed to have originated in aotearoa/new zealand and was popularised after photos of a 2004 protest in auckland against h-m-phobic, evangelical christians showed one protester holding a sign reading “giz a hoon on your harley bro”. the sign was in reference to the motorcycle of the leader of the h-m-phobic christians, brian tamaki.
