philadelphian slang for the feeling of excitement and awe after a spiritual experience, and the urge to go out and do something christian. this is a very dangerous state, because it can lead to change in the life of a sinner, but can also lead to depression when the person who is high suddenly realizes their life is exactly the same as before.
