Grade grinding


grade grinding is a term used to define the act of studying for excruciatingly long periods for the purpose of getting a small increase in marks for any -ssessment/exam, etc.

often means foregoing eating, socializing, and sleeping for the tiny incremental increase in grade.

frequently requires the remembering of menial things such as dates, numbers, etc.
john: what were you doing last night? i tried contacting you, but your phone was off.
david: sorry, i was up grade grinding till 3am. i’ve got a d-mn calculus test today and i’ve got 14 formulae to have memorized.
