1. a place where parrents will pay too much money for houses so their kids can go to preppy schools which the kid’s are ashamed to go to because although they envy the lives of the kids on the tv show “the o.c” they are ashamed to be called rich.
2. a place that college students terribly miss when they are away at college, but when the students come home they soon find there are less parties and places to drink than at college and end up calling everyone they know so they can all meet up together and do nothing.

moco kids honestly think that by talking about how “rich” they are that they will magically be wealthy; hoco kids don’t need to talk about it or have someone else affirm their opulence- they know they’ve got it waiting in the fund.

a great county in maryland near balco and moco. it’s a awesome area to live in and also a great place to raise kids. huge houses with picket fences, unpretentious rich people, real family life, columbia mall, and a relaxed atmosphere.

one of the most affluent counties in america, howard county is conveniently placed between washington, d.c. and baltimore. the citizens of howard county are generally wealthy, although tend to choose not to speak about money at all. high schools students from hoco, who graduate with either an excellent public education from some of the top schools in the nation rich with ap cl-sses, tend to attend upper echelon private colleges or the university of maryland, where they are either part of sports teams or the more exclusive sororities and fraternities.

june and may mark the beginning of the pool season in howard county. during the months of july and august, hoco migrates to the outer banks of north carolina and hilton head in order to “get away,” and then inevitably everyone runs into each other again.

howard county is the american dream. the people are beautiful and it is always named amongst sports ill-strated most active cities in america. the park and recreational systems are always br-mm-ng with athletic families. it is well known for it’s lacrosse breeding ground, especially mount hebron women’s lacrosse and hero’s lacrosse.

everyone wants to live the unpretentious, yet very comfortable hoco lifestyle.
