on june 23rd of 2009, ed mcmahon died. in the following days, farrah fawcett, michael jackson, billy mays, and gale storm p-ssed away. this certainly seems like a hollycaust.

(n) combining the terms hollywood and holocaust, a hollycaust is a film that takes place during the holocaust and consists mostly of violent depictions of horrific holocaust events, but fails to deliver a unique and proper storyline. hollycaust films feel the need to spend a bulk of the film reiterating the abject horror that most people are familiar with instead of creating a unique piece of art with the holocaust as a horrific setting instead of a crutch for the storyline.
steven: did you see that movie which the guy that was in predators won an oscar for?
roberto: yeah, i really liked the later parts and it was a decent movie, but the first half of it felt like a hollycaust.
