horse goggles
a metaphorical human version of blinders, headwear that blocks off a horses peripheral vision so they dont get distracted. this is most often used when someone is oblivious to something important or obvious.
i waved said hi to mike. but he stormed past without even seeing me. he had his horse goggles on.
