insummernia
a case of insomnia during the summer, usually striking students.
usually characterized by the following:
-chronic inability to sleep until moonset during the summer.
-desperate attempts to fall asleep, ranging from sleep aids to studying to working out in the middle of the night.
-apparent sharper mind at 2am rather than 2pm.
-calling or communicating with other people late during the am hours of the night, only to fail because the chances of them already being asleep are at 96.8%.
-being an internet zombie
guy: ey girl, why aren’t you asleep yet
girl: i have a bad case of insummernia 🙁
