jake-talk
jake-talk is a term used when one goes into great depth, technically, during a conversation or an argument. it’s usual use is to -n-lyze (or, perhaps, over -n-lyze) the other persons point by picking specific points of detail from said persons argument and exploiting those points for their flaws. for the icing on the cake, the jake-talk is usually italicized so that it can stand out, thus proving it’s importance in the argument.
person a: “there is no point in banners.”
