john milner
the only real cool character in the american graffiti movie series, essentially the person who the fonz was based on in the television series. while a bit player in the first movie he came into his own as a character in the second one. milner was killed on new years eve when he was struck head on after a race in the second movie.
milners “baby sh-t” yellow street rod in both movies is often duplicated by garage builders and often seen on cruise nights in stockton.
terry the toad: “hey milner, there’s some dude in a hot chevy looking for ya”
john milner: “yeah, there’s always someone looking for me.”
