Kike’s Peak OR Kyke’s Peak
a state college in allegheny county, pa, sometimes called “pitt,” during the 50’s and 60’s was known for being very heavily jewish. it’s main building might be considered a skyscr-per in the oakland section of pittsburgh. commonly referred to as “the cathedral of learning,” which gave it a very “ec-menical” reputation. however, many localites who had reason to be unhappy with the school’s jewish leaning and preferences called the building kike’s (or kyke’s) peak.
