Latona
a last name of sicilian/italian origin, based on greek/roman mythology. the name “latona” is the roman form of the greek g-ddess leto, who is the mother to artemis and apollo. around 1250 in the united states have “latona/la tona/ latona” as their last name, which makes it the 28754 most common last name in america.
mrs. latona is pretty cool, especially for a teacher. i just wish she didn’t teach special ed!
