a luongo is the act of answering a serious question with an answer that everyone in the room, except the person asking the question, knows is complete bullsh-t. the person providing the bullsh-t answer must do so with the intent to trap the original questioner into looking ridiculous and/or doing something stupid. to be luongoed is to have asked a question and not realized that the answer made you look like an -sshole.
jim asked jon if he could wear sneakers to the company holiday party. jon told jim that he could wear sneakers, but that he had to also wear a dress. jim wore a dress to the company holiday party. he didn’t realize that he had been luongoed.
