Maintenance Hang
hanging out with a friend or acquaintance after not doing so for an extended period, and with no intention of doing so again soon. meant to ‘maintain’ a relationship, but not necessarily further it.
yea, i hadn’t talked to doug in like five weeks, so i’m going over there tonight for a maintenance hang. hopefully i won’t have to see him again for a few weeks…
