definition given to the actions of a male who insists on lecturing, often condescendingly and especially to females, on everything, regardeless of whether or not it needs it in an effort to expound his knowledge of every subject.
a manologue is a long-winded description of a task to be conducted with every ‘i’ dotted and ‘t’ crossed when a simple statement will suffice
1. to speak at great length while women are waiting to speak, esp. on a panel or other professional setting. 2. prolonged mansplaining.
