map created by james potter, sirius black, remus lupin, and peter pettigrew (characters in the harry potter franchise) they are also known as the marauders, or pr-ngs,padfoot,moony, and wormtail, in that order. this map allows the holder to view the entire layout of hogwarts, including secret rooms, and can view where any person is going at any time, and can see through any disguise, or potion/spell that is meant to change ones ident-ty. it is activated by “i solemnly swear i am up to no good” if it is opened in any other way (or attempted to) the parchment will spew insults at you
