maxis, a computer game company residing in walnut creek, california. maxis is famous for the #1 pc game of all time, the sims. they have also released the simcity series, and several other smaller games like simlife, simcopter, streets of simcity, among others. electronic arts took over maxis in 1997, and were partly responsible for the reason why no other smaller sim t-tles have been released recently. maxis was originally owned by will wright, who created simcity cl-ssic.

he is a character from soul calibur series. maxi, the pirate from ryukyu(present-day okinawa, j-pan), led a crew of trustworthy men and lived carefree on the high seas. having traveled throughout the seas of asia, maxi looked to the west for new lands to explore and sailed a southerly route towards europe. while docked at a harbor in india, he encountered kilik, a young man searching for soul edge. unfortunately, this proved to be a star-crossed encounter. the hidden evil resident within kilik attracted unwanted attention from a horde of monsters. the ensuing battle took the lives of maxi’s crew, who were helpless against these nightmarish foes. kilik and maxi were the only survivors of the bl–dy carnage.
