an ultra hip mexican or mexican-american girl or guy. a subculture -ssociated with mexican independent music and film and a non-mainstream fashion sensibility. characterized by a strong sense of alienation from most established social activities and relationships, but still generally influenced by mexican lifestyle and culture. interests include: eclectic or urban (sometimes designer) clothing, independent spanish films and websites like club fonograma.
