movie scene letdown
when, even for a split second, you begin to think that something amazing or romantic is about to happen, just like in the movies, then you realize that nothing of the sort is going down. after the realization that such a notion is silly and pathetic, you try not to look disappointed, mostly because you don’t want to explain your stupid fantasy to those around you, because it’s embarr-ssing.
when the buzzer rang at the apartment today, i thought for a second that perhaps the man of my dreams was coming to confess his love for me, but when i buzzed the mystery guest in, it was just a few guys delivering a package for my roommate. epic movie scene letdown.
