abbreviation for northwestern pennsylvania, a scenic rural area of america, or cr-ppy sh-thole, depending on whom you ask

north western pennsylvania. a historic and scenic area. for those who actually live here we refer to the area as a “sh-thole”. some areas are also heavily populated my amish refered to by locals as “newts”. most people who do happen to live here seek to leave the area as it is depressed and jobless. much of what was once in the area is now gone or on a heavy decline.
i live in north west pa. what a sh-thole!
but nwpa is such a nice place to visit.
