O.J. law
the law enforcement policy of arresting men for domestic violence based on any accusation, despite lack of evidence or credibility. the “o.j. law” is so named due to the harsher treatment of male domestic violence suspects in the wake of the o.j. simpson trial of the mid 90s.
we know you didn’t do it, but have to arrest you; it’s the o.j. law.
