Omega turn
that turn you make when your light’s been red forever and there is no one around, so you turn right- onto the cross street and quickly make a u-turn, then turn right back onto the street you were just on, now past the light. named for the shape of its path’s resemblence to the upper-case omega symbol ω
-for places where you drive on the right side of the road. all maneuvers are reversed in places where you drive on the left side of the road
i was gonna be late because of that long light at topanga canyon blvd. but i saw my chance and did the old omega turn, and off i was to my appointment, right on time!
