online ghosts are commonly used as public memorials by friends and family, posting messages to the deceased for weeks, sometimes even months or years after their death.

i visited steven’s online ghost today and left a comment on his wall. it was good to see him again. i like to read what everyone has written. it’s like a support group for those of us he left behind.
onlineghost is where someone who constantly updates social media disappears without warning and/or dies and their words are forever online to haunt.
