not to be confused with the real boxer oscar de la hoya. an oscar de la h-m- is a severely undersized man who takes up boxing/mixed martial arts because he thinks he is tough(when he is not). he is the object of laughter to many because he is oblivious to how ridiculous he makes himself look when he takes himself seriously.
