when you can’t find a show on netflix and you have to acquire it via other means. this term usually implies the show will be downloaded illegally using a bittorrent client, but it can also be used as an umbrella term to describe all other subscription-based streaming services.
the latest season of that show isn’t on netflix yet, so i’ll just download it from otherflix.
