Outlaw country
a style of country popularized in the 60s and 70s as going back to the roots of true country. waylon jennings, johnny cash, willie nelson, hank williams jr, kris kristofferson, david allan coe, and merle haggard are some of the most recognizable of the genre.
person 1: country sucks, it’s nothing but hick sh-t.
