a word used to refer to people who are desperately yearning for attention by stating a fact about themselves which is obviously not true and expecting people to comfort by saying that what they said isn’t true and complimenting the person more. basically, if you’re a ‘patuyaw’ you are an attention seeking -sshole who is insensitive about other people’s insecurities.
