one partner in a committed relationship that is incapable or unwilling to carry their fair share of the burdens in the relationship: to whit, child rearing; child pick-up/drop-off; household ch-r-s; caring for elderly parents; grocery shopping etc. etc. thereby, making themselves an unfair burden on the capable partner in the relationship. the functional equivalent of another child.
