psymicon
a person who is turned on solely by hypnosis and mind control. not to be confused with a hypnofetishist who may have multiple other fetishes in addition to hypnosis. a psymicon is aroused only by hypnosis itself and not even turned on by mainstream things like nudity and s-x.
the term is a sort of play on words derived from the j-panese word “saimin” which means hypnosis and the word “psyche” which means mind. it is an effort to emphasize the fact that psymicon are interested in the occurrences of the mind rather than the body.
the suffix “-con” comes from the word “complex” and tells us that the phenomenon is a complex rather than a fetish. the connotation being that complexes are more subsuming of character than fetishes are.
a psymicon tends to search for the purity in things related to hypnosis and p-ss over the lewdness, squick, and depravity in content. psymicon search for content that puts the focus mainly oh hypnosis and mind control even when such content is in short supply do to equally little demand. however some believe that one day things may change as the term is more recognized.
