it is much more canadian-friendly.
it is fun to yell, also because it sounds like f-cking and if you get in trouble because people think you are saying f-cking you are able to say “h-ll no, i wasn’t, i said ‘puckin”.” and the people would look and feel like fools because they were wrong and silly to jump to that conclusion.
announcer: “and team canada wins gold!”
guy #1: “yeahhh! go canada!”
guy #2: “this is so cool. this is puckin’!! ”
guy #3: “usa is still a really good team! nice try guys!”
