contrary to the addition claiming republicans are responsible for freeing blacks, it’s important to note that republican became a “southern and racist” party with lyndon johnson. furthermore, the great emanc-p-tor, abe lincoln, originally wanted to ship all black people back to africa, only to be told by an advisor that there was not enough ships! so, indeed, modern day republican party belongs to those who are undeniably racist.

a member of the political party responsible for the emanc-p-tion of black slaves in the early 1860’s, and p-ssage of the civil rights act of 1957 granting black people the equal right to voting access. despite this, and the fact that the democratic party opposed both emanc-p-tion, the civil rights act of 1957, and the more broad-sweeping civil rights act of 1964, all republicans are, in fact, racist. despite a 150 year history of opposing equal rights for black people and supporting slavery, all democrats are, in fact, not racist. an example of a racist republican might be george w. bush (it is well known that bush “doesn’t care about black people”), or trent lott, who thought that strom thurmond, a former dixiecrat who opposed desegregation, would have made a good president. an example of a non-racist democrat might be senator robert byrd, a former ku klux klan member, or the original racist republican himself: strom thurmond, who was a democrat until 1964.

liberal term for anyone expressing a republican or conservative point of view, coming from the belief that all republicans are racist. espcially in issues involving minorities.
republican: i believe criminals should be punished.
liberal: you just want to put black people and undoc-mented mexican immigrants in jail.
republican: no, anyone from any race should be jailed if they commit crimes. “undoc-mented” mexican immigrants are violating us immigration laws, which is a crime. people of all races should be held accountable for their actions.
