Rantcreep
in dialogue, the phenomenon in which a person slowly begins to rant (speaking more and more p-ssionately, for longer and longer periods without stopping, and on increasingly tangential subjects). specifically, when said person does not intend to rant and does not realize that is what said person is doing.
rantcreep is the internet’s mildew; it’s very hard to keep out.
