to act or behave in a way that is indicative of low social status or cl-ss. also known as “pulling a ratchet -ss move”.
example 1: “laqueesha cut me in line at the bank and when i called her on it she totally ratch’ed out on me and threatened my life.”
example 2: “don’t touch ted’s beer in the fridge or he’s gonna ratch out on you.”
